IWM deliver In-House Legionella Training Course to Leprino foods

Fantastic morning in Leprino Foods UK and EU in Portlaoise. Danny Cinnamond delivered an excellent Legionella awareness course. Engaging with the team allowed us to provide essential knowledge on Legionella bacteria and its impact on health and safety.
During the session, we discussed the specific conditions that encourage Legionella growth within their facility, emphasizing areas of concern and potential risks.
We also highlighted high-risk groups within their workforce, ensuring they were aware of vulnerable individuals who may be more susceptible to Legionella-related illnesses.
Legal compliance was a key focus, with an emphasis on the importance of adhering to regulations and the potential consequences of non-compliance.
Through this interactive session, we equipped Leprino Foods employees with the tools and knowledge needed to effectively manage and prevent Legionella contamination, ultimately contributing to a safer workplace environment.
